Professor Tom Landers, Dr. Walter Szetela, Len Remple and friends showed us how to unite concerned citizens politically across our Nation, and change rotten Legislation and Supreme Court of Canada Law of 2005, that allowed the legal sexual exploitation of Canadian children by perverse adults. Canadian citizens united, and demanded there politicians to raise the age of sex consent to pass a Bill and make this Canadian Law in 2008 and succeeded
If enough citizens decided to get rid of this Religion of Politically Correct Relativism from government, law, education, and thus the majority of our society, this would help our economy and our social well being. A Christ-less society in government, law and education only allows the exploitation of our impressionable adults and children in every way.
Hey the kid at the beginning looks like a young Michael Voris.
On a more serious note, Pacheco, what the heck are we supposed to do? without even the BA/BSc, like the video says, most jobs (even the lowest of the low that is above McDonald’s and the multiplexes) won’t even LOOK at your resume without the 4-year post-2ndary degree. Yes you could TRY and run your own business, but IT COSTS MONEY!!! And unless you are lucky to win over a greedy-eyed investor, or are lucky to be on CBC’s Dragon’s Den AND WIN OVER at least one of the fearsome five, you cannot even take off unless there’s another outlet for your service or product. Maybe I should be looking forward to the Chastizement as a do over.
We live in a democracy and the politicians we elect pass Bills into laws that we all have to live with. As soon as our Western Civilization choose the worldview of Politically Correct Relativism in government, law and education by decree, over the Christian worldview citizens started to be exploited by the most powerful. A former Christian Democracy in government ,law and education ought to have known where it’s freedom came from. The Bible says,” It is for Freedom Christ has set us Free, stand firm and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” The bedsheets and clothes we wear were once made in Canada and the West by the same companies who charge twice or three times as much for them by exploiting the people with little or no human rights elsewhere. Meanwhile our human rights are eroding. Everything here now costs more because of the Western Civilizations New worldview. Paganism has it’s consequences everywhere, even in democratic countries that redefine Christianity to fit their own mold.
I have the equivalent of 2 degrees. So does my wife. So does Steve. In our day, it was still worth it. However, it’s becoming problematic. I know a lot of people who went to University and have enormous debts that they will not be able to pay off.
Not all of the claims in the video are valid. However, it should cause young people to think strategically on what they want to do when they grow up and look at alternative forms of education which are much cheaper.
I agree that not all the claims are valid. The most valid point they raise is the ridiculous inflation in tuition fees and how it leads to huge debt burdens. It has to stop.
I still think its worthwhile for most people to go to university. Many of the low-skilled jobs of yesteryear, especially in manufacturing factories, have been moved overseas and will never come back. If you have the intellectual capacity, you should go to university and make sure to pick a field where there are career prospects. Fields like the arts, philosophy or history can be very valuable for personal growth, but those fields typically don’t land you a good job. They’re more like “personal interest” degrees, for lack of a better term.
University grads still do better than high school grads in terms of unemployment rates and wages. The figures used in the video are a bit misleading because they’re taking a snapshot of today’s labour market, which is in its worst slump since the Great Depression, in order to “prove” that university grads aren’t doing too well. The market will improve and when it does, most of the new jobs will go to university grads.

Yep. I had the same problem with Exxon Mobil (or, to be precise with Kelly Service that does the recruiting for them). When they heard that I don’t have a degree, they just stopped the interview. My arguments that I have industry certificates which require real knowledge and experience, (unlike the degree for which a mere theoretical knowledge was required) didn’t convince them. They had their list of requirements from Exxon; it had the words “post-secondary diploma”, so they wanted just that, not the industry certificates, not the work experience…
