This is a great quote from Chesterton, courtesy of the Catholic Breadbox:
It [feminism] is mixed up with a muddled idea that women are free when they serve their employers but slaves when they help their husbands.
Chesterton died in 1936. He had yet to see the full wrath of the feminist movement of the post-War period, one which would pull-off the greatest mass hallucination of all time by duping otherwise rational humans into believing that killing babies is an awesome lifestyle choice. It’s hard to believe that a “civilized” society could fall so low.
