Proof: The Canadian Bishops’ Conference wants you off your knees!


From Canada’s chief “liturgist” at the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops per the Vox:

“The National Council for Liturgical Music suggested that the ICEL chant for the Gloria would not be easy to learn quickly and therefore for the implementation resource they chose the setting you find in Celebrate in Song. However, all the ICEL chants will be made available in the coming year, and parishes will be free to use them.”
