Pro-life group calls for national boycott of “collaborators”

American Life League (ALL) associate Children of God for Life (COGL) is a pro-life watch dog group that monitors the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics. COGL recently discovered global food companies providing development funding to Senomyx for research into human taste receptors via a process that uses human fetal cells.

“What they do not tell the public is that they are using HEK 293  ‘human embryonic kidney cells’ taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors”, stated Debi Vinnedge, Executive Director for Children of God for Life, in a press release. Since “moral options for testing their food additives could and should be used,” Children of God for Life is calling for a boycott of PepsiCo, Kraft, and Nestle products as Senomyx “collaborators.”

The Senomyx website lists multinational food conglomerates PepsiCo, Kraft, Nestle, and others as providing research and development funding plus royalties on sales of products using Senomyx flavor ingredients. Vinnedge thanked Campbell Soup for severing ties with Senomyx soon after being contacted by COGL about the controversial process.

“We are thankful for Ms. Vinnedge’s expertise and pro-life vigilance,” said Leslie Tignor, Associate Director at ALL. “We are proud that Children of God for Life is an ALL associate.”

Children of God for Life based in Largo, Fl is one of 112 associates in ALL’s nationwide network.

  1. Thank you for posting this John.

I have heard that everything we go through on this earth is always preparing us for the next thing and if we have the wisdom, God given that is, we will be able to see that everything is indeed doing just that. Therein lies part of our purpose-lived life for God.

God has shown me that when I as a 13 year old at High school, and brought forth a project called “A Not-buying guide for peace” in my Mabn in Society class which startled and confused my fellow classmates, but was my project, it included
multinational companies , and huge gigantic corporations that were pushing their agendas and their businesses into 3rd world countries,
they had no business being in, it was a preparation for this.

At that time , and coincidentally enough God has put on my heart to avoid MacDonald’s even before that, when I was attending St. Joseph’s High School at the age of 12 in grade 9.

I found the so called hamburgers

made me sick and I just felt repelled by everything about it and found its whole so called “family”, oriented identity to be phony. It turns out ,it was.

God told me the same about breast cancer funding by the way, and I found out recently they are hooked in with planned parenthood.

Anyway, particular large companies such as MacDonalds, Coca- cola, Kraft, and many others including Bell were all included. A lot of these multinationals were investing in arms to use in 3rd world countries, and it was not good.

I again digress back to the point I initially need to make about boycotting these giants to not support the atrocities regarding this latest atrocity, you have posted .

One needs to be informed that many of the products they buy come under other names, but like the large fish eating up the smaller fish, the big giant companies still own the smaller ones although they have allowed them to retain other names,,,so we must learn what the situation is with these companies and what smaller ones they own, so we do not purchase products from them, thinking we are not in any way supporting them.

For instance, Kraft owns a huge number of dairy and other companies which fall under other names, and it is important to know that so we do not buy any of them.

    Back then,
I did not buy Kraft products, playtex products, proctor and gamble products and coca-cola from the age of 15 till I was long into my 30s, save I believe Miracle whip when I made salad dressing for potato salad, so you see I did not COMPLETELY boycott, and that is what is required, if we are serious.

As usual, it comes down to doing the homework, if we mean business, and NO compromising for our own creature comfort at the expense of the dignity of innocent lives already slaughtered for profit.

God give us Your Heart, and Thank You for Your Love, and Mercy
