For Immediate Release: OTTAWA PRO-LIFE GROUP TO DISPLAY GRAPHIC ABORTION PICTURES OUTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
OTTAWA, NOV. 10/11 – The Ottawa based pro-life group “Ottawa Against Abortion” will be holding signs of aborted children outside of Immaculata Catholic High School. This will be the fourth high school in Ottawa that the group has visited since September as a part of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform’s new EndTheKilling strategy. Students from the high school will be joining the graphic protest that will be occurring over the lunch hour. “We are standing up for the defenseless and will not stop until we end the killing.” says first year Carleton University student and member Jessica Mullin, who was also at the protest outside of Glebe Collegiate High School. Displays outside of high schools have occurred across the country including Calgary, Chilliwack, Lethbridge and Airdrie. Protest organizer RD said “I am proud to stand with pro-life activists from across the country who are showing students that abortion is an act of violence that kills a child.” The protest, named “Choice” Chain, displays multiple 4X3 foot signs of aborted fetuses in the first trimester of pregnancy. It has been done across the country in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina Toronto and many other communities. When asked about the reason for being outside of high schools member Nicholas McLeod stated, “it is important for all people to see the horror that lies behind ‘choice’. If you are old enough to have an abortion, you are old enough to see one.” For further information please contact Nicholas McLeod at 613-816-7815.
