Philippine prelate: Condoms, like cigarettes, should have warnings

Less than a week after the nation’s health department distributed free condoms for Valentine’s Day, a prelate in the Philippines has called upon the government to add warning labels to condoms.

“It is the right of consumers, whether Catholics or not, to be informed of condom failure,” said Archbishop Ramon Argüelles of Lipa. “Just like ‘Smoking is Dangerous For Your Health,’ there must be a government warning: ‘Condoms May Fail to Protect From AIDS.” (Source)

  1. John, I wasn’t sure if the email I had of yours worked, so I hope you don’t mind my making an inquiry here. I was wondering

-if you could tell me what your relationship to the Catholic Legate is

Also, I would also be interested if you could do a post (or if you have, refer me to a post where) you discuss what you perceive Christianity to be, or who Jesus is to you, and the difference that makes in your life…
