Here’s an interesting piece from Archbishop Terrence Prendergast’s Facebook page. He speaks of a Shrine of Our Lady of Knock (Ireland) that is doing an amazing job in providing Confessions for the masses. Check this out:
On Ash Wednesday, Monsignor Joseph Quinn, Rector of the Shrine of Our Lady of Knock told me of his roster of twenty-seven confessors who labour at the Shrine greeting all who come to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
When I expressed a desire to make a Lenten confession, he offered to take me over to the Reconciliation Chapelwhere several priests were on duty. Inside there is a lovely chapel with the Mother of Christ and the Beloved Disciple under the cross as the focus.
Around the prayer space are 56 confessional units with a couple of rows of benches with kneelers at each
That’s absolutely amazing. So much grace and mercy flowing!
