Jesus Loves GSAs

So, just like we said from the beginning of the GSAs, they are being used in Catholic schools to further the radical Gay agenda. Note the Egale paraphernalia.

I am just amazed, really and truly amazed, on how there could be such a lack of good judgement, lack of testicles, and lack of concern for Catholic children from our supposed Catholic trustees who let this abomination into our schools. It is an abomination that is going to destroy countless innocent lives.  And one day, the Bishops, the trustees, and the rest of the fools who permitted this garbage into schools bearing the Catholic name are going to have to account for their colosal failure to protect the kids.

All for faux human respect, your Grace.  In CanChurch, seeking after worldly human respect trumps the care of souls.

Shame on them.

  1. GSAs are a « brand » as much as Coca Cola is a « brand. » Just like you can’t mix up your own fizzy drink and call it Coca Cola, you can’t make up your own anti-bullying club and call it a GSA—unless you adhere to the way GLSEN wants a GSA to be run (the “corporation” who owns the GSA “brand.”) Anybody who thinks otherwise is tragically naive.

  2. The Catholic school system of Ontario, is Catholic, in name only. If our schools tapped to the beat of authentic Catholicism, we would have a very small school system. There is at least one Catholic high school with a mini-mosque. Imagine that, a Catholic school board, with episcopal approval, a purveyor of Islam. How long will it be, and this will happen, before some Catholic students, decide to become Muslims, due, in no small part, to the proximity, of an on-site mosque? Imagine that, a Catholic school board, now a purveyor of apostasy. Religious indifferentism on steroids. Catholic school trustsees….useful idiots.

    • Hi Jim

      Thanks for the link

“Worship the same god”?? No! the true God is Triune.

Typical doctrinal slop that flourishes in our schools. The websites for CARFLEO and ICE,should have a prominent disclaimer: (Any resemblance between authentic Catholicism and the pop carousel catholicism of this site is pure coincidence.) Both these sites suffer from obscurantism, by way of silence (not mentioning what our Church actually teaches)and obscurantism by way of equivocation (using traditional terminology but with different meanings from that which has come down over centuries). I taught, for 31 years, high school religion. It was a very difficult task, constantly trying to align CARFLEO “Catholicism” with the Catholicism of the previous 19 centuries. It is simply not possible. They are two different religious operating systems. The Catholicism of our schools and our parishes has more in common with liberal Protestantism, than it does with the Catholicism of the ages.

  3. I disagree with what your opinion. Jesus does love GSAs. Jesus loves everyone. Stop judging people because they sin differently than you. Just because people are gay does not make them any less human than you. Jesus still loves them and I see nothing wrong with promoting equality and love. As a Catholic myself I do not believe write should promote same sex things, but we do believe in acceptance, equality, and love. If you do not think so too, then I think you’re misunderstanding what GSAs stand for and what the Catholic faith believes.
Please take this into consideration next time you judge.

He does? Last time I checked, I don’t see anywhere where Jesus says He loves GSAs, but I do read St. Paul condemning homosexuality. And I do read the Catechism that call the acts “objectively disordered”.

      Jesus loves everyone.

Jesus loves everyone, but he hates sin, sinful acts, and the sinful structures (like GSAs) which prop them up.

Stop judging people because they sin differently than you. Just because people are gay does not make them any less human than you.

Never said that Gays were any less human. Where precisely do you read that? You are confusing the Gay Political lobby with persons who suffer from this disorder.

Jesus still loves them and I see nothing wrong with promoting equality and love. GSAs are about finding acceptance for the ACT and promoting homosexuality within Catholic schools and bullying faithful Catholic students from opposing its destructive lifestyle. Egale is hardly a benign organization. If you believe in acceptance, then believe it for everyone and not create special clubs for confused kids who engage in sodomy. That’s not love but cowardice. Love does not always say “yes” when the truth says “no”.

You are obviously a very confused person. The Catholic Faith is very clear on the sinful nature of homosexual acts. No organization that believes these acts are normal should be permitted in Catholic Schools. It’s really that simple.

    • Egale Canada was incorporated as a federal not-for-profit organization in 1995, with a focus on education, advocacy, litigation and expert consultation.[1]

Otherwords, a lobby group intent on pushing their own agenda.

GSA’s are nothing more than a recruitment club. Especially at the elementary level.

  4. ICE is the educational arm of the bishops. Read that again in case you missed it. The bishops delegate everything that happens there, but ultimately the responsibility is theirs and theirs alone. This cannot be denied. Everything that is being taught in our Catholic schools can only be taught because our bishops permit it. Their silence, which is deafening, is a betrayal of the greatest kind and they should be held to task for it. We don’t do that enough.

This is why it isn’t necessarily a solution to put a bishop in charge of education outside the public system. Sadly, there needs to be more checks and balances in place to ensure orthodoxy.
