If there’s no movement, they’re likely guilty themselves

1980s child star Corey Feldman has been in an position to know about pedophilia in Hollyweird. Here’s what he has to say on the topic:

“I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia. That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry. … It’s the big secret.”

Regarding another child star named Corey,

“There’s one person to blame in the death of Corey Haim. And that person happens to be a Hollywood mogul. And that person needs to be exposed, but, unfortunately, I can’t be the one to do it.”

This gives some insight into the widespread support child rapist Roman Polanski has received from the entertainment community.

More alarmingly, it offers a glimpse into the morality and mindset of the people who use the silver screen to program our cultural norms. No wonder conservatives in the entertainment industry have to keep their heads down, as our culture rots. It’s also unsurprising that President Downgrade, the personification of American decline, is counting on Hollyweird to provide big bucks for his reelection campaign. (Source)

Don’t kid yourself, folks, pedophilia is going to be tolerated in the West and eventually, if things keep going the way they are going, be accepted in law.

It’s just another sexual orientation, right?  And kids really do need a healthy sex life, right?  Add those two beliefs together….

Sexual Orientation + Kids need a healthy sex life = Legalized Pedophilia.

One more little observation.  Notice above how Feldman makes the connection between Polanski’s support from Hollywood and what is Hollywood’s “problem”?  Indeed, what other possible reason would Hollywood have in supporting a child rapist, if they themselves were not doing it?

Remember what I said about the gay problem in the Catholic Church and the reticence of the bishops to tackle it:  it’s the same explanation.

  1. Pacheco, I have to inquire as to your train of logic here with the last couple of paragraphs. After a point you write:
“Indeed, what other possible reason would Hollywood have in supporting a child rapist, if they themselves were not doing it? Remember what I said about they gay problem in the Catholic Church and the reticence of the bishops to tackle it: it’s the same explanation.”

By this train of logic, you are saying that like hollywood, as a whole, the Catholic Church’s bishops are not tackling this issue and in fact are supporting ephebophilia (raping teen boys) because many of them are either teenage rapists themselves (regardless of sexual orientation) or love that kind of behaviour, even if bishop X himself doesn’t physically commit ephebophilia.

I personally think you might need to edit the end of the paragraph and perhaps put in some disclaimers that:
    1) Not all bishops support this, especially your awesome bishop of Ottawa, Prendergast (who’s personal blog I read every day).
    2) Likely a good number of the bishops themselves are the products of a post-vatican II 70-80’s watered down catechesis, highly misunderstand the Church’s position on homosexuality, and therefore contribute unwillingly to the crisis. Mind you I bet a number of those pointy hats do INTENTIONALLY!!!

Hey the final word is yours, but after reading those last few statements, I thought it sounded like something I’ve said to my parents bluntly at the dinner table with the response “you’re flying off the rails and making no sense”.

  2. I can’t believe how crass Hollywood has become. They want to turn a blind eye to a guy who raped a girl just because it happened a long time ago, but when a priest does the same thing, they want his head on a platter even if it was 40 years ago. What a sick joke.

  3. The North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) actively promotes homosexual pedophilia.
Their platform also wants to lower the laws governing the age of sex consent in North America. Their slogan is:”Sex before eight ,or else It’s Too Late’! They don’t mean eight o’clock.

In the Netherlands, Paedika: The Journal of Pedophilia, an advocacy publication is highly recommended by Dutch liberals.

In Canada Politically Correct thinkers know the corrupt values they are teaching our children in public school class-rooms, while others say many are ignorant of the consequences of what they teach .

I do not want to see A Canadian Journal of Pedophlia selling in our stores, but with the laws the Politically Correct Canadian politicians and judges are making anything can happen.

The age of sex consent was 14 in CANADA thanks to the liberal minded politicians and those who vote for them. Concerned citizens joined across the nation and demanded Parliament raise the age of sex consent in 2008 and succeeded. This closed a legal loophole whereby consenting Canadian children were legally being exploited. There is a Culture War raging in our land, but many citizens are absent without leave.

  4. Flying “off the rails”? I hardly think so.

So, you think that Lahey is the only one?

Bad apple in an otherwise stellar line up?

Sorry, I’m not buying that. Only the Koolaid drinkers don’t think there is a serious sexual orientation problem within the episcopacy.

Is it all of them? No. Is it half? Probably not. But it’s likely a number which we would all feel very uncomfortable with.

  5. Oh yes, one more thing. Bishop Lahey was a bigtime opponent of Gay “marriage” in 2005.

What does that mean? It means that, frankly, just because you’re Mr. Orthodoxy in public means diddly squat in your own personal life.

Frankly, no bishop is above a healthy skepticism.

Any bishop can be pro-life. It’s a whole different story when a bishop starts to get serious about it and take some real heat for disciplinary action against so-called Catholic politicians.

Issuing a press release about being pro-life is pretty tame stuff.

Dalton McGuinty is still a Catholic in good standing, despite having public AND PERSONAL views completely contrary to the Catholic faith in terms of abortion and homosexuality. We know this, of course, because the Archdiocese of Ottawa permits him to receive holy Communion.

+ Prendergast is good man. But there is much room for improvement…to say the least.

  6. No, Mr. Pacheco. I don’t think Lahey is the only one. I’m sure many bishops are abusing their pointy hats. I think you missed my comment here: “2) Likely a good number of the bishops themselves are the products of a post-vatican II 70-80’s watered down catechesis, highly misunderstand the Church’s position on homosexuality, and therefore contribute unwillingly to the crisis. !!!!! Mind you I bet a number of those pointy hats do INTENTIONALLY !!!!!!!!

As for the flying off the rails, I tend to make a lot of blunt statements at my dinner table to my parents about many different issues. My parents, many a times will respond with either “You don’t know what you are talking about” or “Don’t talk about what you don’t know” or the “flying off the rails statements”. They just don’t see what we do, even my Catholic mother who is going to another parish because our current one has kids not being controlled by their parents during Mass, (she) has a pre-vatican II mindset about Mass and isn’t happy with the current admininstration there (good for her!).

BTW a little off topic, but what do you know about Bishop De Angelis of Peterborough? He was my confirming bishop, so I am just concerned on what stance I should take with regard to him.
