Because of the ubra powers that Rob Nicholson continues to bestow on the thugs at the CHRC in (illegally) spying on Canadians, accepting vexatious complaints from the perpetually aggrieved, and initiating the establishment of a “hate tip-line”, I thought it would be an interesting venture to find out if they had anything on me.
As the letter above indicates, there’s nothing on my file just yet. I know of other conservatives, though, who’ve had complaints against them, but have never been contacted.
If you’re a conservative blogger, I encourage you to write to the CHRC and demand to know the details of the secret spy file they might have on you. They are mandated to provide any information, pursuant to the Access to Information Act.
As an aside, I got a kick out of the last paragraph. The fact that the CHRC would put a “complaint” direction in their response is quite telling about what Canadians think of the CHRC.
Hey…say….now that’s an interesting request the blogosphere could put to the Information Commissioner: “How many complaints have been made against the CHRC?“
