How times have changed

From the first reading on today’s feast of the Holy Family :

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, ‘Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.’ But Abram said, ‘O Lord God, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?’ And Abram said, ‘You have given me no offspring, and so a slave born in my house is to be my heir.’ (Genesis 15:1-3).

Notice how Abram valued a child more than anything else. God offers him a great reward, but he basically replies “thanks for the offer, but there isn’t anything you could give me that would compensate my lack of a child.”

How times have changed. Do you value children more than anything? Do you prefer to have fewer children so you can afford that extra iPad or Caribbean vacation?

Think about your priorities.

  1. Times have changed in the so-called “neutral” Secular Pagan Democratic West, because starting in 1962 the Western Democratic citizens including the ones who call themselves christian politically, and legally changed their State Sanctioned Worldview/Religion from Christianity to so-called “neutral” Secular Paganism in Government,Law and Education. When a society which formerly was Christian kicks Christ out of Government,Law and Education, then indoctrinates it’s schoolchildren from Kindergarten using adult schoolteachers, and homosexual activists in the tenets of Secular Paganism, as human rights and social justices, what can the outcome be,but inforced Democratic Secular Pagan tyranny? When the Leaders loose their way, including the ones who call themselves christian, the mob follows.
