Hang in there Ruthie!

As reported earlier, Censorship U (formerly known as Carleton University) has flushed itself down the toilet with a display of intolerance and goonery. They’ve shown themselves to be keeping pace with Ottawa U in the race for the bottom of the septic tank.

I can’t believe the police has nothing better to do than to send some cops to arrest innocent people.  Isn’t there a murderer or a rapist on the loose somewhere that they should be focusing on????  Alas, that’s how they treated Jesus when he was arrested in Gethsemane:

“Have you come out with swords and clubs as if I were a bandit?” (Luke 22:52)

One of the students arrested, Ruth Lobo, is a personal friend of mine.  She is pro-life to the very marrow of her bones.  There’s nothing wishy-washy about her.

We’re very proud of your courageous stand, Ruthie.  Hang in there!  We’re praying for you!

The Lord is good to those who hope in him, to those who are searching for his love. (Lamentations 3.25)

Just like Ottawa U., Carleton is taking huge lumps in the mainstream media over this.  There has been coverage in many major outlets:  National Post, various Sun Media newspapers, Ottawa Citizen, Montreal Gazette, Yahoo, Maclean’s.  Heck, even the business magazines called Canadian Business and Money had articles on it, including quotes from Campaign Life Coalition.

But I couldn’t find anything in the Globe and Mail as of this writing.  Are you really surprised?

By the way, did you catch the Canadian Bishops’ vigorous denunciation of the arrests?  Neither did I.  Missing in action.  Again.

  1. I am VERY proud of the demeanor and the conduct of these young people. They provide a VERY striking contrast to the loud, brash, vulgar, destructive, abusive, and threatening protesters of other ilk which I have observed on that very same campus.

I pray the Lord will continue to grant them the same calm and assurance, so that in all, the Lord Himself will be glorified. And I pray also that they may have many many opportunities to stand in the gap for the defenseless unborn.

  2. The video on YouTube is really amazing – it is awesome to see such a strong faith. I agree that the police must have better things to do than arrest Ruth and the other students. In the end it came down to who had the authority, everyone who watches the video must wonder on what grounds they arrested them (I think it was trespassing, when Ruth mentions that she is a student on campus this was pretty convincing proof that she had a right to protest in my opinion even if the campus has its own views). Ruth did her homework that’s for sure. It was very courageous of her to stand firm in what she believes. Personally, I would have left instead of being arrested – not that strong spiritually speaking. Keep up the good work!

  3. Blessings to Ruthie and friends who are pointing out the horrors in pictures of this crime against humanity. I believe that when university students look at pictures of babies in the womb killed by Suction and what the remains look like, they will know without a doubt what is going on. After the Second World War The Nuremberg Military Tribunal indicted ten Nazi leaders for, encouraging and compelling abortions, which our Justices considered crimes against humanity.

There are striking parallels between what happened to the unwanted in the Third Reich and what’s happening to the unwanted today!

It is the same kind of mentality. We don’t respect human life and we dehumanize it and then get rid of it !

The Nazis dehumanized their victims by calling them subhuman, non-human, parasites, animals, objects, and non-persons. The same terminology dominates today’s pro-abortion semanticists.

Do you realize that the Nazis “technically” did not break the “LAW” in the Holocaust ? They passed over 400 “LAWS “leading up to the final solution ! Each defendant at Nuremberg invoked the ”LAW” to justify their involvement in the Holocaust. They said they were not responsible.

“WHAT IS LEGAL IS MORAL,” is a frightening slogan used to justify all kinds of atrocities through history.

Legality was used to exterminate natives in Australia, Africa, North and South America, India, the killing of Jews and the destruction of the unwanted today. Legality was also used to justify slavery and the slave trade.

The main term used by the pro-abortion propagandist is the term “CHOICE”. The right to choose.
The main term used by the Nazis to cover up their killing was “SELECTION”. The right to select.
It was the doctors who were making selections in the Nazis death camps.
It is the doctors today, in conjunction with pregnant women, who are making “choices” in the abortion chambers.
The right to select in the past and the right to choose today represents the “evil” power to destroy those who cannot defend themselves.
And this evil is taught to students through our Education Establishments who shape our Civilization. This is diabolical and Canadian citizens must rise to put an end to this monstrous brainwashing of our society. Remember in a Democracy every citizen who votes or runs for office is responsible for the Laws made in the country. Unite and put an end to this wicked programming of our society by our education establishments.
