Going to Jail

“I could see myself going to jail possibly at some point over the next 15 years, if God spares me, if I speak out,” Archbishop Tartaglia said in an interview with STV News July 24.” (Source)

Yep. And those of us here who defend the Church’s teaching will be with you in the jail cell, your Grace.

In the next 10-15 years, the persecution that is coming is going to squeeze the last drop of social justice and liberalism out of the Church…especially its Bishops.  For that, we can be very thankful because then the “corporate management” mentality of our bishops is going to come to a crashing halt.  Look for early retirements.

We warned them 10 years ago that this would happen. They didn’t listen.  Now it’s time to pay the price.

  1. Your jail time remarks are timely, John. I spoke with my hero, Linda Gibbons this week. Yes, she is just nicely out of jail, and enjoying her ‘free’ time. What a witness she is to the faith, and to pro-life. Linda has taken the biblical command to ‘lay down your life’ and has done that. She has been in and out of jail for about fifteen years now, with accumulated jail time around nine years. Her crime is to stand on the sidewalk, outside the abortuary, and hold a pro-life sign. It is all so unbelievably Orwellian.
