Dear Lord, please, no more Kool Aid Drinkers. We can’t take it anymore.

I think +Dolan represents the great majority of bishops in the West today:  they want soooooooooooo much not to have to face the reality and make the tough decisions, that they will bend over backwards to the point of self-deception to ensure they don’t have to admit what everyone else can clearly see.

They don’t want to suffer for Jesus.  That’s what it comes down to.  But that suffering is coming, whether we’re into self-deception or not.

‘…very sensitive, aware, assured me this was something he’d look long and hard at.”

I bet.

He’s playing you for a fool, your Grace. And you’re falling for it.  You’ll know when he makes his next move. Then you can be assured of his “sensitivity and awareness”.
